How to record your intro video

One minute on your phone and a link you paste into the application. Always optional, and the first thing the team watches when there is one.

Why we ask for it

We want to hear you explain your work in your own words. A CV says what you did; the video says how you think about it, and that is the part a short text cannot carry.

Not your face, not your lighting, not your accent, and no editing is expected. One take is enough.

What to say

Sixty to ninety seconds, in whichever language you prefer. Pick one thing you built and walk through it: what the problem was, what you specifically did, and what changed afterwards. One concrete example beats a summary of your whole career.

How to record and share it

  • Record with your phone camera as it is.
  • Upload the file to Google Drive, Loom, or YouTube with the "unlisted" option.
  • Check that anyone with the link can watch it; this is the step people forget.
  • Paste the link into the video question on the application.

If you skipped it, or cannot record one

You can add it later: from the link in your receipt email, or from your own page any time. And if recording is not possible, write a line explaining why instead of a link. No application is turned down for having no video.
